The club is delighted to have made another donation to Motor Neurone Disease Scotland following a successful festive raffle.
A cheque for £400 was recently handed over by Club President Robbie Nellies to MND Scotland Chief Executive Craig Stockton.
Robbie said ' It's fantastic news that progress has been made recently with research in helping find a cure for this truly awful disease. Falkland Cricket Club is immensely proud to continue to provide financial support in albeit a small way and brings the club's donations to MND over the last few years to £3000. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us.'
The club sadly lost Rory Manson (57), one of it's most popular members, to MND a few years ago.
In 2019 Greg Chambers one of the club's members raised £970 for MND Scotland after completing a 12 hour sponsored 'batathon'.
As part of Falkland Cricket Club's 160th anniversary this year it plans to host a fund raising match in July in aid of the charity.
